Random Song Monday

So we’re all still home, ideally avoiding people, and as such, I thought I’d bring back the five random song pull. Because, what else is there to do? And also, maybe you’ll find some new to you music you might like. Let’s go!

 Bartees Strange – Lemonworld

This is a very interesting project, where the singer takes and reinterprets The National songs. If you don’t know The National, they make generally depressing music, but also, pretty white. You’d think that wouldn’t make a difference, but it does. Check it out, even if you don’t like The National.

Gold – Tar and Feather

At some point, I hope something cheerful pops up. Of course, now I’m wondering if I have anything cheerful on my ipod. (Yes, I still use one. I use a burner phone – I’m not keeping anything on it I’m not comfortable with losing.) (No, I am not Holden.)

American Nightmare – Left For Dead

I swear I’m not doing this on purpose.

Panicker – Commuter

We have one more chance for cheerful. Cross your fingers.

Secret Shame – Comfort

Okay, we never really got to cheerful. But at least the song is titled Comfort, so … that’s something. Look, I’m just going to take it.
